From the Studio: Made + Found
Not everything here is made by me.
And not everything here is old.
What matters is how things sit together.
In the studio, you’ll often find a handmade piece resting beside something sourced. A new object next to one with a little history. I love watching the conversation happen between them. The way a modern line softens when paired with patina. The way something worn feels renewed when placed next to something just finished.
This is the heart of Wright & Co.
Made and found, sharing the same surface.
When I source, I’m not looking for trends or volume. I’m looking for pieces that feel grounded. Objects that don’t need explanation to be understood. When I create, I’m thinking about how something will live once it leaves my hands. How it will feel in a home. Whether it will be kept, not replaced.
I often share these pairings in motion on Instagram and TikTok, not because they’re styled to perfection, but because they’re real. A shelf half-arranged. A piece being tested in a space. A moment of pause where I realize two things belong together.
That same instinct guides what you see here.
Wright & Co. isn’t about choosing between handmade or curated. It’s about honoring both. About letting objects support each other instead of competing for attention.
If something feels like it fits, it’s probably because it was chosen that way on purpose.
