From the Studio: In Process

From the Studio: In Process

Not everything you see here was easy.

Some pieces took more than one attempt. Some ideas needed to sit longer than I expected. Others changed shape entirely once they reached the table. I’ve learned to respect that middle space, the part where things are unfinished and uncertain.

This studio holds a lot of “not yet.”

I don’t rush that phase. I’ve shared enough behind-the-scenes over the years to know that people connect just as deeply to the process as they do the finished result. Sometimes more. There’s honesty in seeing something mid-creation. In watching hands adjust, rethink, start again.

When I bring an object into Wright & Co., it’s because it’s reached a point of quiet confidence. But that doesn’t mean the journey was straightforward. It means it earned its place.

You’ll continue to see the in-between moments across my social spaces. The crafting. The DIYs. The experiments that work and the ones that don’t. I want this market to feel human. Alive. Built, not manufactured.

This blog is where I slow those moments down. Where I can tell the longer version of the story. Where the pauses matter as much as the progress.

Thank you for being here in the middle with me.
It’s one of the best places to stand.
